Thornton
Thornton, near Bradford, is a village of great historical importance to the world of literature, it was the birthplace of the Bronte sisters. However this isn't immediately apparent because unlike Haworth, Thornton hasn't stressed it's Bronte connections and thus remains mainly free of tourists.
